150th

2011 will mark the 150th anniversary of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church as a congregation, existing on the property we still use today.
The theme for our year-long anniversary celebration is We believe in grace alone, in faith alone, in scripture alone. Special anniversary worship services led by guest pastors will be held throughout the year. The July 24 service will be held outdoors under a tent followed by dinner.
A history book is being written, and a special calendar and commemorative plate are being planned. The committee would like to make the commemorative plates available beginning this fall, so they may be used for Christmas giving. In order to determine production numbers, the committee would like members interested in obtaining one or more plates to fill out a pre-order form.
